On the evening of 23rd July 2025, the BapaHebatSG Volunteer Community came together for a meaningful networking and development session at The Foundry. It was an inspiring gathering where we were blessed to welcome 16 new fathers into our volunteer family.

The session began with warm introductions, allowing everyone to share a little about themselves, their families, and their personal fatherhood journeys. We then moved into programme sharing, where our leadership team presented the vision, mission, and the range of programmes BapaHebatSG runs — from prison-based interventions to father-child bonding activities, from workshops like Fathering 101 to our Teh Tarik talk series and community outreach events.
We also introduced volunteer openings and roles across different areas of our work, including programme facilitation, events, social media, podcast production, and father mentoring. This was followed by a general discussion where participants shared ideas, feedback, and suggestions on how we can collectively strengthen our impact for fathers, families, and the wider community.
What stood out most was the energy, openness, and commitment in the room. Volunteers — both new and experienced — came forward with valuable insights, practical suggestions, and offers of support. It was a reminder that the strength of BapaHebatSG lies in its people, united by a shared belief: that when fathers are present and engaged, families and communities thrive.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer who took the time to attend, participate, and contribute. Your passion and dedication are the driving force behind everything we do.
This is just the beginning — with your involvement, we look forward to building even stronger connections, expanding our reach, and continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of fathers and families. 💪❤️
